TOBRUK

  • Strategically located on the Mediterranean coast, the Port of Tobruk operates within the Tobruk Free Zone, providing direct access to maritime shipping routes serving North Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean, and regional transit trade.
  • The Tobruk Free Zone is located in close proximity to the city of Tobruk, ensuring convenient access to workforce, commercial services, and urban infrastructure.
  • The Free Zone is connected to Tobruk International Airport via the coastal road network, enabling efficient coordination between sea and air freight operations.
  • The coastal highway provides a direct eastern connection between the Tobruk Free Zone and Benghazi, supporting the movement of goods and logistics flows across eastern Libya.
  • Road links from the Tobruk Free Zone connect westward to Tripoli through Libya’s coastal highway, facilitating domestic cargo distribution and inter-regional trade.
  • The national coastal road network enables seamless freight movement between Tobruk, Benghazi, and other major Libyan cities, strengthening supply chain connectivity.
