Strategic Partnership to Transform Tobruk Free Zone into a Regional Trade and Logistics Hub.

Tobruk Free Zone is moving forward with its activation and development plans through a strategic partnership with Emaar Libya Holding Company, appointed as a key developer of the project. This milestone reflects a clear commitment to restoring Tobruk’s vital economic and logistical role as one of Libya’s most important ports.

Through this partnership, Tobruk Free Zone aims to develop a modern investment infrastructure, create a competitive and investor-friendly business environment, and strengthen Tobruk’s position as a strategic gateway for regional trade, logistics services, and re-export activities.

This initiative represents an important step toward supporting economic growth, diversifying investment opportunities, and unlocking the promising potential of eastern Libya.

Part of the meeting that brought together the Chairman of the Board of the Tobruk Free Zone, Prof. Idris Abdeljawad Al-Habouni, and the Chairman of the Board of Emaar Libya Holding Company, Eng. Abdelhamid Mousa Awad, within the framework of strengthening the strategic partnership aimed at developing the Tobruk Free Zone and revitalizing its economic and logistical role.
